Child Trafficking

The Madras High Court has issued notice to state authorities over alarming allegations that children used for begging at traffic signals may be victims of organised trafficking, with infants possibly being drugged. The Court has called for a coordinated, multi-departmental inquiry into child exploitation and safety.
